Notes: Spent his boyhood in Nebraska, Wyoming, Hot Springs, South Dakota, and
Kansas City, Missouri. Enlisted in the US Army at Kansas City, Missouri on 23 July 1917
and served with Battery E, 128th Field Artillery, Camp Doniphan, Oklahoma from 5 August
1917 through 2 May 1918. Transferred to the 23rd Recruit Company, GSI, Jefferson Barracks,
St Louis, Missouri, on 2 May 1918. Promoted to Corporal on 22 November 1918 and was
discharged Honorably on 12 April 1919. Was a Refrigerator Mechanic in St Louis then was at
Curtis Wright during WW II. Taught Labor Relations at St Louis University Night School.
Sold Water Conditioning for Mogul. Retired at age 72. |

Notes: Attended the 1904 Worlds Fair in St. Louis. Moved to
Cincinnati in 1908 and
then to High Point, North Carolina in 1910. Attended two years of High School in High
Point. Returned to St Louis in 1914 and completed High School at Soldan High School.
